Registration Information

Click here to register all currently enrolled students for the 2021-2022 school year.
Tipton County Schools' online registration will open July 1st and should be completed by July 15th for currently enrolled students. Contact your child's school if you do not have a username and password for Skyward Family Access.
 
 
In-person assistance with online registration will be available as follows: 
  • July 13th 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Tipton County Board of Education 
  • July 14th 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at your child's school 
  • July 15th 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at your child's school 


  • Students who are new to Tipton County for 2021-22, including Kindergarten students who do not register in the spring, will register in-person at their zoned school on July 27th, from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Parents/guardians will then receive log-in credentials for Skyward Family Access to complete the online portion of registration .
  • Any student who has changed residence and will be transferring to a different school within the district will need to attend new student registration on July 27, from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at their zoned school.
 
 
 
New Student Registration
 
***Children entering kindergarten shall be five (5) years of age on or before August 15 for the school year.***

Students new to the district who are enrolling for the first time should register at the zoned school on July 27, 2021. 

Any student entering school for the first time must present the following:
 
Please note:  If you are unable to secure one of the items below, please contact the principal of your child's zoned school for assistance in enrolling your student.
 
  • A birth certificate or officially acceptable evidence of date of birth at the time of registration;
  • Evidence of a current medical examination. There shall be a complete medical examination of every student entering school for the first time. This applies to kindergarten, first grade, and other students for whom there is no health record;
  • Evidence of state-required immunization;
  • One proof of residence.
 
Students enrolling from another school will also need the following:
  • Withdrawal papers from previous school or last report card
  • High school transcript
 
 
The following items will be considered as proof of residence:
  • Property tax records which indicate the location of the homestead
  • Mortgage documents or property deed;
  • Apartment or home lease
  • Current utility bills showing residence address;
  • Automobile registration
  • Driver's license
  • State issued id/document
 
Any document which evidences only a post office box as an address shall not be accepted.
 
 
Kindergarten Registration Information
 
Note: Per the Tennessee Department of Education, to be eligible to enter kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year, children must be five years of age by August 15, 2021. (T.C.A. 49-6-3001 (B))

 

Kindergarten registration packets will be posted on each of the elementary school's webpages for parents/guardians to print and fill out.  If you are unable to print, you may pick up a copy at the elementary school.  The elementary schools will accept completed registration packets on March 4, 2021; April 8, 2021; and May 11, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.  Due to social distancing, you may be asked to remain in your car. We ask that you bring your child with you for Kindergarten screening.

 

In addition to the completed packet, parent/guardians will also need to bring a copy of the following:

  • A birth certificate or officially acceptable evidence of the date of birth
  • Evidence of a current medical examination
  • Evidence of state-required immunization and
  • One proof of residence.
